Even though the recent reviews were all bad ones, we decided to go anyways. We had such a nice dinner, the staff were friendly and the waiting time was ok. The food was amazing, I recommend the shrimp risotto and the steak with roquefort sauce. My only complaint is that we asked mid-rare tuna and it was too cooked.

Amazing garlic & butter shrimps! We also added a portion of rice! From outside it looks like a normal bar but this restaurant has amazing food!!! Delicious! Give it a try! Update: we went back again the following day for more shrimps because it was that good!! Last meal before taking off!
Popular Bar/Restaurant with outdoor patio overlooking the harbour. Under new ownership since 2020 and now called AtlantAzor. We had lunch there today, a dish called Pudim de Atum Γ‘ Germana, see photo. Very tasty. Weekdays there is a dish of the day (prato do dia) for lunch.

Atum steak was really tasty. The restaurant is located in a cool place near the sea. I really like the atmosphere.
We were informed that we could eat well at the Naval Club. We weren't disappointed: big portions, freshly made and cheerful service. While lunches are the daily specials, the evening menu packs more variety! While the entres were delicious and the sangria kept on flowing, watch out for the fish dinners like the soup: made with the whole fish, there is less attention to safety, and you might wind up eating scales and unfiltered fish bones. Relatively moderate pricing.
Good restaurant right next to the island's pier. The menu is mainly focused on meat (artisanal hamburgers) but it also has some fish and seafood options (tuna steak, squids, etc...). The kitchen can get overwhelmed with a lot of requests, so you might have to wait some time to eat there. Staff was nice and it has places both inside and outside. Be aware that some options (catch of the day) need to be reserved in advance
